The Antara and Robin’s wedding was a fab intimate wedding at the stunning venue of Castello del Trebbio.
This was a lovely destination wedding in this Tuscany’s castle. We love Tuscany: it’s valley, it’s nature, it’s history. It’s absolutely a nice destination for an unforgettable wedding.
Antara is an Australian lady with Indian origin and Robin is a Norwegian man, they live in Oslo and this Castle was the perfect frame for them to say “Yes” for their eternal love. We met this lovely couple in the beautiful city of Florence where we took shots from their engagement session. It was absolutely amazing to take some snaps of them into the roads of this old city. Antara wore a gorgeous sari, a typical Indian dress and Robin wore a Kamiz, a typical male Indian dress. In Florence, everything seems sophisticated…. from Giotto’s frescoes, Michelangelo’s David, canvases by Botticelli, Leonardo Da Vinci and many others beautiful Renaissance things. We fall in love of this vibrant and living city. You can read about their engagement session very soon:)
After visiting the exciting Florence, we discovered Castello del Trebbio that has a beautiful history, that is its soul and we were so fascinating about it. The day before of Antara and Robin’s wedding, we are really enjoying our visit in Castello del Trebbio, where in a super nice wine tasting, Alberto, the event designer, showed us and to the couples, the history of this luxurious wedding venue. The Castle was first constructed by the noble Florentine banking family called “Pazzi”. At the height of Florence Renaissance, the Pazzi family plotted, in these halls, to kill two representatives of the Florence ruling family, the Medici. With the “Pazzi Conspiracy,” the family – long rivals of the Medici – intended to remove Lorenzo de’ Medici and so dethrone Florence ruler. After the failed conspiracy, the Castle was confiscated by the Republic of Florence. Today, in the Castle, the magnificent “Conspiracy Room” can be admired. With one glass of one wine and another:) we really delighted these informations.
Having said that, now is the time to tell you about their ceremony…simply breathless! The ceremony was hosted in the Castle’s Historic courtyard. The set up was amazing, perfect for an intimate wedding. The Hortensia were arranged in the chairs and the beautiful Dalia on the table and the purple color as the let motive of this wedding mood. We have really fallen in love with the Antara’s decomposed bouquet: a dreamy Dahlia wedding bouquet with purple flowers. So nice.
As the fulfilment of their dream the night became so special and magical. A sky full of light and a beautiful cake for this cuttest.
